Sonax continues Formula 1 partnership with Infiniti Red Bull Racing

With Sebastian Vettel’s fourth World Champion triumph, Sonax adds another chapter to its success story as supplier to Formula 1. It is the third season already, that the enterprise accompanied Sebastian Vettel’s successful team Infiniti Red Bull Racing as “Official Supplier”. And in February, SONAX and the Championship Team agreed to partner for another two years.

After four years in the lead, Infiniti Red Bull Racing is still one of the most popular F1 teams among fans. However, just as all competitors, the team has to rise to new challenges in 2014. This includes the new technical regulations on propulsion and a modified driver pairing. Instead of Mark Webber, Red Bull Junior Daniel Ricciardo will join Sebastian Vettel in the chase for points.

So now, before the first race in Melbourne, the excitement grows whether the team is able to continue its string of victories. For this, the team is meticulously working on the preparations. In spite of careful estimations, Sebastian Vettel concluded the last test in Bahrain positively:“We did more laps, so that’s encouraging. It’s good to check the car, check the reliability, but obviously there is a lot still to do. It was good to get a proper first feel for the car and it feels OK but there’s a lot more to come. It’s difficult to talk about catching up [to rivals] because I don’t know what other people are doing, but we did more laps than we have done so far and that’s the big thing. We’re learning every single lap, even if the quality of the lap is sometimes not the best. However, the most important thing is to run and we did that. The last two days have been very useful.”
