International mountain bike stars take off with Sonax

Sonax, leading manufacturer of car care products, counts on partnerships with international stars of the MTB community to draw attention to its modernised “Sonax Bike” series. Sam Reynolds, Nicholi Rogatkin and Clemens Kaudela are now the Sonax brand ambassadors to shine in the fascinating downhill and freeride scene.

The Englishman Sam Reynolds (26) is the “captain” of the new “Sonax Bike Team”. He is from Surrey, just a stone’s throw from London, and in recent years has made his mark at many international events with spectacular performances. These events include “Red Bull Rampage”, “Loose Fest”, “Cruz Fest”, “Nine Knights” or “Dark Fest”. Also, the “Freestyle World Champion 2016” Nicholi Rogatkin (22) is part of the team. Having achieved successes such as “BMX Worlds 1st” and “King of Air 1st”, the professional biker from Lincoln in Massachusetts is among the top athletes in the international freeride community. Clemens Kaudela (27) from Austria completes the trio. The “High flyer from Unterstinkenbrunn”, as the Austrian daily newspaper “Krone” wrote, caused a worldwide sensation, for example, with the probably highest air jump with a mountain bike. This trick succeeded just a few months ago at the “Nine Knights” festival, which takes place in the Alps every year. The three bikers will draw attention to the Sonax brand and the Bike series, particularly with video productions, at trade fairs and events as well as with other activities.

Pedalling neatly

Sonax expanded its bike care programme, specifically tailored it to the e-bike trend, and modernised the design in 2017. The latest addition was the “Sonax Bike Cleaning and Care Cloth” for a convenient cleaning. “Sonax Bike Cleaner”, which comes with a recently optimised formula, tackles typical soiling on the bike. Another interesting innovation is the new “Sonax E-Bike Chain Spray”: the experts from Neuburg developed a special formula to lubricate and protect the particularly strained e-bike chain. The product with the “Easy Spray” double spray system protects electronic contacts and prevents leakage currents. “Sonax Bike Spray Wax”, two other chain care products and helpful accessories complement the range.

March 2018 – Sonax, successful manufacturer of cleaning and care products for vehicles and industrial applications, has further expanded its leading market position. Compared to the year before, Sonax GmbH increased the annual sales by 11 % in 2017. The company headquartered in Neuburg on the Danube in Germany achieved a turnover of €115 million in the past fiscal year. “We are very pleased that we could again grow in 2017, even after the extremely successful 2016. 
The new “Sonax Xtreme Spray+Protect” spray sealant, for example, is simpler and quicker than any previous paintwork sealing: thanks to intensive development the Sonax R&D experts designed a paintwork sealing that can be applied during the vehicle wash, requiring around five minutes only. The innovative product celebrates its German debut at the 2017 Essen Motor Show.
Sonax is a world leader in the manufacture of high-performance car care products – and also is very popular with motorsports fans around the globe. This also appeals to drift icon and rallycross pro Ken Block. The star of the spectacular “Gymkhana” videos will set the stage for the Sonax logo in the future.
