Sonax declared “Brand of the Century”

For the second time now, the car care specialist Sonax has been acclaimed as “Brand of the Century”. Only every three years, a high-ranked jury of the publishing house “Deutsche Standards Editionen” awards the cross-sectoral prize to German brands that represent their industry in a unique way.

The company headquartered in Neuburg on the Danube sets the standard for premium car care products.On 24 November 2015, the “German Standards Brand Award” was presented by publisher Dr. Florian Langenscheidt to Daniel Ott, member of the Sonax management, and Franz Fischer, head of Sonax marketing, during a festive gala at the Loewe Hall in Berlin. Across all industries, more than 250 of the strongest German brands have been awarded and honoured in the new edition of the “Brands of the Century – 2016 Stars” compendium.

Sonax is considered as a “star of the German brand universe” that impressed consumers with its quality, innovations and identity. And not without reason: for more than 65 years already, the German expert has developed and manufactured premium car care products and is one of the leading international players. The brand with its distinctive car care expertise is represented in 100 countries around the globe.

March 2018 – Sonax, leading manufacturer of car care products, counts on partnerships with international stars of the MTB community to draw attention to its modernised “Sonax Bike” series. Sam Reynolds, Nicholi Rogatkin and Clemens Kaudela are now the Sonax brand ambassadors to shine in the fascinating downhill and freeride scene. 
March 2018 – Sonax, successful manufacturer of cleaning and care products for vehicles and industrial applications, has further expanded its leading market position. Compared to the year before, Sonax GmbH increased the annual sales by 11 % in 2017. The company headquartered in Neuburg on the Danube in Germany achieved a turnover of €115 million in the past fiscal year. “We are very pleased that we could again grow in 2017, even after the extremely successful 2016. 
The new “Sonax Xtreme Spray+Protect” spray sealant, for example, is simpler and quicker than any previous paintwork sealing: thanks to intensive development the Sonax R&D experts designed a paintwork sealing that can be applied during the vehicle wash, requiring around five minutes only. The innovative product celebrates its German debut at the 2017 Essen Motor Show.
Sonax is a world leader in the manufacture of high-performance car care products – and also is very popular with motorsports fans around the globe. This also appeals to drift icon and rallycross pro Ken Block. The star of the spectacular “Gymkhana” videos will set the stage for the Sonax logo in the future.
